About IMS Precision

Established in 1986, I.M.S. Precision Engineering Ltd have grown over the years into a precision engineering sub-contractor. In 2010 the company was bought out by its current directors, and has moved from strength to strength, employing and training skilled engineers, investing in the latest technology and continually improving our processes and quality systems.

In 2020 we moved into an 8000 square foot fully refurbished facility, doubling our productive floor space. This move has made way for new production and quality equipment. Allowing us to massively increase capacity, whilst continually maintaning and improving our quality at the highest level.

We offer a flexible manufacturing service, using innovative manufacturing techniques to offer your parts, to spec, on time. IMS Precision can also offer fully managed production, including processes such as heat treatment, plating and painting – we can also offer assembly and testing to spec, welding, fabrication and sheet metalwork.

IMS can supply rapid turnaround on quotes, excellent lead times using own transport, as well as using trusted 24-hr couriers. Customer service is our top priority at IMS, with customer queries being dealt with swiftly. We specialise in tackling difficult engineering challenges in varieties of materials with rapid turnaround times.

IMS are ISO 9001:2015 accredited, and we have held ISO 9001 since the company went Limited in 1998. We have a focus on quality and can supply FAIR (First Article inspection Reports) and full material/parts traceability. All jobs pass through our internal quality assurance – from a simple part, to a complex assembly, IMS can ensure that your parts meet your specifications, every time.
